Two of our MIA students Joy Wortley and Sophie Jeffers travelled to LA yesterday along with 19 young people from across Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland and Canada to participate in an exclusive week long programme of workshops, studio experiences, screenings and professional insight sessions. Support from Loyola Marymount University will also provide participants with an opportunity to experience aspects of campus life in Los Angeles, encouraging independence, connection and aspiration as they explore future educational and creative pathways in film careers.
