I am pleased to share with you Portadown College’s School Development Plan (2026–29).
Through meaningful consultation with students, staff, parents/carers and Governors, and building upon our 100-year legacy of educational excellence, our 2026–29 strategic journey seeks to prioritise high quality learning experiences and outcomes for the College community. In doing so, we are mindful of the evolving educational landscape, including the Department of Education’s TransformED strategy and the proposed changes to the Northern Ireland curriculum, with an emphasis on greater flexibility, skills development and learner-centred approaches.
By strengthening our unique position within the Dickson Plan and fostering positive relationships between staff, students and parents/carers, we are dedicated to ensuring every learner benefits from an environment that affords opportunities for success.
