1) Collection

Year 12 GCSE Results can be collected from 9am in the Assembly Hall on Thursday 24th August.

Year 11 GCSE Results can be collected from 10am in the Assembly Hall on Thursday 1th August.

If you are unable to be there in person to collect, please nominate someone in advance by emailing info@pc.portadown.ni.sch.uk. Results cannot be given by us over the phone or email. Those not collected by 3pm will be posted out.

The parentmail issued in July provides some additional information if required.

2) Statement of Results

In your envelope you will receive a statement of results. This will clearly list your grades, as well as the marks for each unit and overall subject.

Please do not lose your statement of results as this is your record of achievement until your formal certificate is issued in November.

If you are having any problems understanding your results statement, follow the link below for an explanation:

Some envelopes may also contain additional information regarding photographs.

3) Grade Boundaries

If you are considering a remark, it is important to know how close you are to the next grade boundary.

The easiest way to work this out is by comparing the uniform mark on your results statement to the uniform grade boundaries (UMS).

  • You can do this for the overall subject by comparing your Final Uniform Mark
  • You can also do this for each individual unit within the subject.

The boundaries are not released until results morning, but will be found on the Exam Board websites linked below.

CCEA: https://ccea.org.uk/students-parents/results-information/grade-boundaries

AQA: https://www.aqa.org.uk/exams-administration/results-days/grade-boundaries

Please note: the raw mark boundaries might not be published at this stage.
