For the fourth consecutive year, Portadown College’s public speakers got through to the NI Final of the Business and Professional Women’s Public Speaking Competition.  The team consisted of Joshua Quinn as Chairperson, Alana Cahoon as Speaker (on the topical issue of whether young people have the right to days off school to protest to raise awareness about environmental issues) and Lucy Williamson as Expresser of Thanks.

Unfortunately they did not advance to the Inter-Regional Final but it was a wonderful experience and a celebration of talent through communicative excellence.

PC wishes all students, parents and carers an enjoyable, safe and happy summer break.
