Year 11 students participated in an end of term public speaking competition, involving teams of three composed of a Chairperson, Speaker and Expresser of Thanks.  The speeches ranged thematically from Grenfell Tower to the troubles of teen life and the plight of bees!

The discerning adjudicator was retiree Mr McCavery.

The Best Speaker award in this instance went to Ellie Currie.  Best Chairperson was Nathan Waugh and Best Expresser of Thanks was Lois Campbell.

11A1 put forward the winning team Chaired by Nathan Waugh, with speaker Jack Wilson and Expresser of Thanks Lois Campbell.

Congratulations to all competitors and thanks to Mr McCavery for taking time out to adjudicate the budding talent that is Year 11.
