Portadown College students once again recorded  significant successes  at AS and A Level.  Some 31.4% of all A2 grades were at ‘A*’or ‘A’ and the A* – C grade tally showed a very pleasing improvement.  The overall pass rate was 99.8%.

23 students achieved 3 grades or more at A* or A in A2 examinations with Ryan Davison achieving a noteworthy 4A* grades.

27 AS students gained 3 or more A grades, with Ivan Ribeiro recording an exceptional 5A  grades.

Students who joined the College Sixth Form from other schools achieved excellent results, with the following students achieving at least 3 As at AS level:  Megan Fiddes and Manus Wong (Craigavon Senior High School) Heather King, Jack McMahon, Ian McTurk and Amy Williamson (Markethill High School)

This adds to the success of their peers who performed at a high level in A2, having  joined the College Sixth Form from other schools:  Jayne Fenton, Naomi Kilpatrick & Sam Shepherd all from Markethill High School achieved 3 A/A*s at A level, and Iris Wong from Brownlow achieved 2 A*s and 2 As.

Mr Harper commended the students, noting that  the successes recorded are the result of the considerable talent, dedication and industry of our young people and our teachers.  He continued, ” I am most grateful for the support of all staff here at the College alongside the level of interest and input from parents.  I would like to take this opportunity to wish all of our leavers health, happiness and success as they embark upon their new and exciting adventures.”
