Another musical triumph was recorded for the PC music department with The Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols on Thursday 17th December.

From Charlotte McClelland’s solo opening to Once in Royal David’s City to the orchestra’s fun arrangement of Rudolph, arranged by former student James Cunningham, the evening was a musical treat.

The choir’s renditions of I See a Star and All on a Silent Night showcased the singing talent of our female voices, while the Chamber Choir reached new musical heights with their Festival Sanctus, unaccompanied in Latin.

From violin ensembles to harp solos, once again Mrs Doogan is to be commended for the high standard of musical performance she inspires in the College.
