During the week of Halloween, Cadet Pamment, Corporals Bentley and Nelson and Sergeant Smyth attended our annual autumn camp at Joint Helicopter Flying Station, Aldergrove.
During the week we visited the Ulster Aviation Society and got a first-hand tour of the PSNI helicopter. We also achieved First Aid and Health and Safety qualifications as well as getting to see what life is like on an active MOD base.
The highlight of the camp for Corporal Bentley was being able to take part in leadership and radio communication systems which assist with air traffic control.
We also had the opportunity to complete a swimming qualification and have now picked up many useful skills for life and our CVs!
