Members of Student Voice, the College’s student council, attended the Craigavon Area Learning Community Mental Health and Wellbeing Fayre in the Civic Centre on Wednesday 25 October.
Students had the opportunity to attend workshops on a range of issues including social media addiction, personal safety, managing stress and the impact of drugs.
Students were also able to visit stalls run by a range of public and voluntary sector agencies.
All of the students attending have been set the challenge of working with their teachers to organise a mental health and wellbeing event in the spring term of 2018. The participating schools will come together again on 16 April 2018 to share information on each of these events.
