FOOTBALL AT PORTADOWN COLLEGE

There are plenty of opportunities to play football at the College and to perfect your skills whatever age you are.

Year 11 can play in the Mid-Ulster U15 League and Cup while Year 12 take part in the same competitions at U16 level.  The senior students in Years 13 and 14 can compete in the U18 Carnegie Cup. 

U15/U16 practice is on Wednesday after school between 3.45 and 4.45.

There have been a few notable successes and one of the most impressive was that Luke McCullough, who captained one of the school teams, played for Northern Ireland U16 and U17 sides.  On completion of his GCSE studies, Luke will go to take part in pre-season training with Manchester United in the hope of becoming a professional footballer.
