Communication and Contacting School Parents/guardians are encouraged to contact school if they have any concerns about the progress or welfare of our students, no matter how minor the concern may be. A phone call to the College office and a brief explanation of the nature of the communication will allow the office staff to direct the call to the appropriate person in school. The Pastoral Year Head should be the first point of contact for any matter of concern, whether it is about pastoral care or academic progress. In some cases, parents or guardians may feel that it is more appropriate to contact the Vice Principal in charge of Pastoral Care (Mrs P. Greer) or the Curriculum Vice Principal (Mr D. Atkinson). Where an issue is particularly sensitive, the Principal may be contacted through the College office and telephone contact details are listed below. Parents/guardians should be aware that confidentiality cannot be guaranteed by e mailing the school and that a telephone call is the best contact option. Parents/guardians are invited to the school for parents’ evenings twice a year for a series of presentations and a consultation with teachers. These are important events and all parents are asked to attend. Through the College office, an appointment may be made by a parent/guardian to meet with a teacher throughout the term.
