Richard Hill is officially the Best Individual Speaker in Northern Ireland Schools for 2011

Richard recently competed in the final of the Northern Ireland Schools Debating Competition. It took place on the 15^th April in the debating chamber at Stormont and he competed in the Best Individual Speaker award.  In preparation for the evening he had to prepare two six minute speeches on the subject of “The house believes that social networks are the driving force for revolution.”  Fifteen minutes prior to the competition he drew out which side he would be speaking on and chose to propose the motion.  Richard delivered a very eloquent and amusing speech even referring to the famous painting of the politicians on the wall in the chamber and the school was delighted that he won.  He is now officially the Best Individual Speaker in the Northern Ireland Schools Competition 2011.
